Ram’s Horn Snails
Two ram’s horn snails, Planorbella trivolvis, hang out on underwater vegetation. They are air breathing freshwater snails, native to North America. The snails carry the parasitic nematode, Bolbophorus, that may infect catfish, and other aquatic vertebrates.
